I bought this lipgloss after seeing it advertised by Cheryl Cole (embarassing I know). I usually like L'Oreal products so I had high expectations.

The lipgloss cost me a shocking £6.99  from Boots. I think this is quite pricey for a lipgloss. I dont usually spend more than £5 on them. Saying that, whilst the tube isnt too big lengthwise it is quite wide; so you do get quite a lot. (Although not nearly enough for the price!).As the tube is quite small its the ideal size to carry around in your handbag for (much needed) touchups.

L'Oreals advertising campaign emphasises the products 'new heart shaped wand'. The wand isnt too different to any other lipgloss applicator. It doesnt make the lipgloss any easier to apply than a 'normal' lipgloss wand. It does pickup a lot of lipgloss out of the tube, so you endup using a lot of the product each application.

The consistency of the gloss itself is quite good. Its quite thick and not too watery. It however, isnt long lasting. I found myself having to reapply it several times throughout the day (as I paid quite a lot for the lipgloss I wasnt happy with this as I found the product running out quite quickly).

The gloss comes in a range of colours. I've tried both 'Pink Moon 101' and ' Sheer Cassis 180'. Both colours were very shiney and glittery. I found 'Sheer Cassis 180' to be quite a deep colour; so I wouldnt wear it during the day too much. I found it to be more of a nightime colour. The glosses made my lips feel very soft and smooth. They didnt have a horrible grainy texture like some sparkly lipglosses do. Neither of the lipglosses smelt or had any detectable flavour.

Overall; this is quite a nice product; but very pricey for what you get, as the product isnt long lasting and tends to run out quite fast you could find yourself spending quite a lot on these lipglosses. You also need to be careful to choose a colour that suits your skintone as some of the colours do tend to come out quite brightly.
